Hello Beautiful

As a woman I am thankful for love, thankful for those that take notice when no one else has. I have to ask, that as women is this what we need to to fill a void within ourselves? When he shoots you a "Good Morning" or "Hey Beautiful" text, does it makes you feel important and I'm sure appreciated? Does his acknowledgment help you to live, encourage you to  be all that you are designed to be?

When these morning messages cease, how do you feel about yourself then? Where is your confidence now? Are you able to go about your daily routine without wondering, "what did I do for him to stop? Do you no longer feel worthy? When are we going to realize that so someone else's perception or actions towards us does not define who we are?

Society has many of us tripping over the acceptance from another, especially a man. Only you can make you happy. It starts from within and until then you will continue to accept and expect the little things thrown at you. Learn to appreciate who you are.  Let his acknowledgement be nothing more than compliments. Make your own blueprint.

What the hell is going on? How many more of our youth have to die or go to jail? What have we been teaching and telling our son's and daughters? Does being innocent matter any more? How many more people have to die at the hands of an police officer? How many more deaths do we need to count that are from our own hands? How many more have to die because of the so called stand your ground law? How the hell can one stay positive with all this negativity going on? 

Our children have no respect for themselves let alone others. Facebook postings are about fire challenges, knock out challenges, condom challenges, pregnancy packs, fights and etc. When and why is the blueprint for our future? 

Your daughters, my sons, our sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers are all subjected to this foolery. Reality t.v has become the thing to look up to. Females fighting over no good men. Men sharing their woman with other woman. Females get down right ignorant when a man calls them a "BITCH" but use the term loosely when describing themselves and talking to their friends. Like which one is it? Don't expect respect if you cant respect yourself first. What the hell do we stand for? 

I'm tired of seeing our mothers on the news crying because they lost a child due to violence or negligence. I'm tired of seeing our youth kicked out of school for doing dumbness. Our society are attention seeking beings, that will do anything to themselves or others to be noticed.
